Smile Christmas Presents for Crew Members

Hi,

Sorry to barge into your space since I am not a crew member but you would know best how to answer our question.

My wife and I are doing a Christmas cruise shortly and would like to give Christmas presents. So, what a crew member would like/need on board.

Your help is much appreciated.

#1 is cash -

Living space is small, so many gifts will take up valuable space.

All ships have crew shops that carry chocolates, muchies, also vending machines that sell phone cards that crew can use from their cabins on the ship (that take $10 and $20 bills). Guests bring and leave a lot of personal products (i.e. bath & body products, etc) so those who work cabins tend to pick over that stuff before it goes to the incinerator room. And the shops onboard have perfume/booze/trinket sales below after every payday . . .

Popular consumables? Fanta Orange soda, blank cd/dvd's, memory sticks, pringles chips.

How about very strong small magnets/clips for the wall of the cabin to put photos and other items up?

Like I started out - Cash is #1, but I'm sure anything given would be greatfully appreciated

hey yeah i agree with the above.
I had a pax send me lots of baths products etc...but we dont have baths in cabins..

Maybe finding out where the crewmember is from and getting something they love from there...
like i'm from UK and would have always wanted Cadburys chocolate

i know the Candadians always wanted a certain type of coffee....

luxuries that can't be bought onboard...

or just a nice card to say how much you appreciate their hard work always goes down well - as this makes the time away from family and hard work worth while

xx
