300 pounds medical check Royal Caribbean?�?

Hi,
I had an interview with Royal Caribbean and I have got another one next week but in the case of being accepted for working with them I need to pay 300 pounds for a medical check,is this right?have anyone done this before?

When my son worked for RCCI they did require a medical exam prior to leaving port. Even though it could have been done by his own Dr. and you could only pay cash for it. Insurance didn't cover it because it was required for work.

I had my ship medical exam renewed in Honolulu this week.
Cost me US$1,600.
