I recently had a telephone interview with a representative of P&O Australia and i was told ive got the job on the spot! I was informed by the rep that the recruiter i was working with here in Canada would be notified and take it from there. After waiting a few days i contacted my recruiter about questions such as medical, flights, etc.. And she told me to wait until "an offer has been extended" I'm assuming this refers to the letter of employment.
My big question is, What is the general turn around time to receive this letter or "offer"? Is it sent electronically or by mail? Seeing as i live in Canada and the cruise line is in Australia, mail could take quite some time. It would just be helpful to know!
Can someone help me. Well, I been through a Rccl's hiring partner and did have a skype interview on 26th of May. During the interview , the interviewer told about possibility to apply as cruise director as she saw that I been done everything in entertainment and will get back to me and to send her musics which I used to mix. One month after, all friends got their letter of offer except me. I've been told that it's on its way I have to wait. This week my recruiter said I'm on the pending list. Can somebody tell me what should I do and what's you might think is going on ? I quite frustrate really don't know what to do it's turning two months now and I'm totally down.
Everybody is welcome for any ideas or comments.

Thank you very much for your quick response.Hope that you're right. It makes sense that the gap talent pool is actually full of males sports staff.
So, you're on Rhapsody of the seas as broadcast. How is it there? May be we will see each other in the future.
