trying to locate former crew member

I am trying to locate a former crew member. I've just been able to find out that he left Carnival Cruise Line's employment in 1995. i know it's a very long shot, but have there been any cases where there are current employees who are still in contact with former ones, who might be able to pass along a message somehow?
