Default Getting on the same ship as a friend?

So currently my friend and I are in the process on possibly being hired as photographers for NCL. We're both really excited and nervous but would feel ten times better if we could start off on the same ship together.

I'm still going regardless of if I will or won't be on the same ship as her but does anyone know if there is a way to some how request to be on the same ship as someone?

Usually ONLY if you're already in a committed relationship and can prove it (marriage license or in the case of same sex partners/relatives - utility bills or the like).
