Starboard retail employee - questions
Im in the process of interviewing for starboard, my interview is comming up (aug 29) very excited.
Im aware of the long hours and the hard work that is required. my major concern is the salary. i am aware that its 500 base plus commission that is shared between everyone.
id like to know what the minimum someone has made per month, and what does one make per month average.
also, is it 10% of whats sold or how does it work.
im asking this because i may not be able to find someone to sublet my apartment and will still be needing to pay rent while at sea. along with a couple other payments.
any insight would help, thanks:)
how did you apply for starbord?
i would like to work in retail on ships but in my country there is no hiring agency for this department. the nearest for starbord is italy or uk...
please give some details if there is any hiring for shops right now
thank you in advance
When I worked on Regent a guy I knew worked in the shops. He typically earnt between 900 to 1200 GBP a month. if you are in the shop manager position the salary will be higher of course :-)
Hope that helps
