New and planning to join COSTA (french hostess)

Hello everybody!

I've just found this forum and it's really nice to find a place like that
I've worked on a COSTA ship for a french charter for 3 months (escort/entertainement) and now I really want to join COSTA as a french hostess.
I don't know if they're looking for some people right now but I'll give it a try
My resume is ready but I don't know if I just have to send it to Costa on the website or if there's a special contact for that...

If some of you have any advices or tips to help me on my project... You're more than welcome!

Go to the Costa Web site first of all and look for a place to submit resumes. Since you were working on the ship I think it would have done you a lot of good to have gotten contact names while you were onboard.

If you do NOT find a good place to submit resumes at the Costa web site then I would send a resume to the cruise line - but do your best to find out who does the hiring there first so you can address it by name.

Then send a package with you CV, a picture, your language skills and ALWAYS MENTION THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY WORKED ON THEIR SHIPS. Experience is the number 1 reason why cruise lines hire a person these days. They want someone who is "ship-ready" who already knows "the life."

Thank you for your answer and advices
One of the crew member I was working with gave me 2 days ago the name and email of the man in charge of the recruitement at Costa! That's such a good news for me because I know that writing directly to the right person is way better

I'm actually working on my resume and letter, and I'll follow your tips about mentionning my experience on board.
As Xmas is coming, I plan to send it at the beginning of january. I really hope it's gonna work for me

As I planned, I send my CV to my contact at Costa and I got an answer 2 hours later
I have an interview at the end of the month, I'm so happy and hope it's gonna work
