Default More info on RCCL tattoo policy?

Hello,

I am a culinary student who is coming upon graduation and am interested in working for cruise liners. My previous research told me that most cruise liners have a strict no tattoo policy....but upon further research I found some liners (such as RCCL) are more lenient.

I just wondered if there is a limit to their leniency? I know that obviously they can't be offensive, mine aren't. I pretty much have 2 sleeves. As I culinary student I would be looking to work in the kitchen if that matters... any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ok I created an account just to help you out so a thanks would be appreciated .
I was going through my new hire paperwork and noticed that their policy is as follows:

• No visible tattoos on the neck, face or hands
• No tattoos or body art that could upset or offend guests or co-
workers

I hope this helps.

They say that - but I know of a couple of captains on RCCL who have some serious tattoos on their arms.

And I know this one's gotten more ink since this photo

A sound guy I worked with last year had a full sleeve tat on his left arm . . .
