Were you able to make good money at the end of your contracts?
If so don't matter what position you have or had what's an estimate of what you will bring or what you made at the end of your contracts?
Were you a saver, spender, dreamer, keeper, did you have goals for your money?
I don't drink and no expenses back home so I plan to save tons and I'm not a port gift shop kinda person maybe 2 items but that's it I got BIG PLANS
Its easy to save money if thats what you want to do. You dont have to pay for a single thing while you are onboard. You can do a whole contract and save all your money if you want. It just depends on how you want to spend your time.
If you want to use the internet services on board, you will have to pay for that. If you want to drink at the crew bar, you will have to pay for that, but its cheap. The only outgoings that you will have are items for your cabin, like shower gel, soap, toothpaste, other little bits and pieces. Accomodation, food, electricity, water, towels, bedding everything else is paid for.
Some people blow all their money in the crew bar, in port, in the casinos on land, while others walk off the ship with a big chunk of cash. Its entirely down to you.
I didn't plan on saving any money, but I bought home a fair bit of cash. I didn't drink that much, but I spent heaps on internet. I used to go into port every few days and I didn't mind spending money on a decent lunch on occasion. I wasn't an officer, so my earnings weren't that great
