On Celebrity ships, they are called The Century(the best version but not the
inspiration), aboard NCL they are called Transbluescent (not a bad concoction).
Princess calls theirs - Neontini.
It's really all in the mix, the shake and an eye for what it should look like.
Practice with the following:
2 shots (or so) Absolut Citron, about a shot (or so) of Blue Curacao, a splash
of unsweetened 'real lime' juice (NOT Rose's Lime Juice, and for some reason
juice squeezed from a fresh lime doesn't cut it either). All poured into a
shaker filled with lots of ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a well chilled
cocktail glass. An Aquatini should be iceberg cold. The drink should be opaque
and not clear, and a vivid aqua color like the water on the best beach you've
ever seen. It shouldn't be deep blue, too tart or too sweet. It's one of those
drinks that if it's not exactly perfect, it's nasty. Prepared well and it goes
Garnish with a lemon or orange twist.
Quote of the day:
Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.
