Default What's your favorite cruise food?

Just interested in hearing about people's favorite cruise food memories. If you can remember, please list the cruise line and ship. Memories are what make the non-cruising days easier to take. Enjoy!

My favorite cruise food memory was eating at the Olympic restaurant on the Celebrity Millennium. Everything I ordered was delicious and the service was superb.

I had goat cheese soufflé, caesar salad, steak diane, and chocolate soufflé. To die for! My fiancé had the Russian salad, lobster velouté, steak diane, and waldorf pudding. They were delicious too.

Here's a sample menu if anyone's interested.

Definitely worth the surcharge. Can't wait to do it again next month.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

I just love cold soups and I only seem to get them on cruise ships (except for the occasional gaspacho or vichyoise (sp?)). My all time favorite was green gage plum soup - it was wonderful !

On Royal Caribbean, I love the chilled fruit soups (strawberry bisque and three berry are favs) and the Grand Marnier Souffle is to die for!

Celebrity Galaxy. All the food was great, I even found out that I love cilled soups. However, the dish that turned out to be my favorite was the lamb. They had lamb on 3 different nights and each time it was served a different way and it just seemed to get better each time. As I told my wife, it was like a bit of heaven in my mouth.

Celebrity Infinity:
We had a balcony and would order room service evey a.m. for the time we wanted to wake up. My husband & I would get coffee, tea and pastries for ourselves and cereal and juice for our two year old. Celebrity's homemade pastries are to die for - real flaky croissants, plain, chocolate and almond, cinnamon and apple danish. Ah...
We'd sit on the balcony in our bathrobes, waking up with these treats and watch the ship pull into port. Then we'd get dressed and go to the formal dining room for a real breakfast!
