Default How is the food on the Sovereign of the Seas

Could someone help me and tell me what kind of food that they serve, and what everyone would recommend. This will be my first cruise and I would like some input.

Thanks

I don't remember anything specific being bad at dinner. I even tried the escargo but decided that snails are more of a conduit to get the yummy garlic butter in your mouth. No one in our group was really excited about the buffet/ serve yourself deal. I would suggest eating as many meals in the dining room with the sit down service. I can't remember the names of the dining rooms anymore but you'll see what I mean. If your in a hurry the buffet will do but its just hamburgers and samdwhiches plus a salad bar that wasn't bad. Much better food in the sit down dining room.

Shelby,

We got back Friday from a 4 day cruise on the Sovereign and the food was very good. The lunch and dinner menus change daily in the dining rooms and each offers at least 3 choices for appetizers, main entree, and desserts. Generally a seafood, beef, chicken ect. alternative and if you order something you are not happy with, your waiter will be glad to bring you something else. Didn't eat dinner in the Windjammer but at lunch they had burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish along with hot vegetables, salads, and various desserts..

Happy cruising.................
