Default soy products

does anyone know if Celebrity Mercury serves any soy products--i.e. tofu, soy milk? I don't drink milk and try to follow a vegan diet as much as I can. I enjoy eating cereal in the morning w/ soy milk. Should I bring my own?

I don't drink milk. When the ship stopped at Catalina I bought Safeway Organic Soy Milk at Von's. That way I didn't have to pack it.

Otherwise, I would just bring my own on board in my luggage.

I didn't think there would be any soy milk onboard and there wasn't. Not even in the cafes.

Depends- they do serve soy milk on Carnival but you have to request in advance. They would automatically set the table at breakfast with a small pitcher and would automatically bring it with my coffee. The waitstaff at my table was also very good about warning me which entrees contained dairy as well.

We will be travelling with my son who is severely allergic to milk. So far I'm getting mixed signals about how readily they will deal with it. Any tips you can give me will be appreciated.

Most lines will accomodate special dietary needs if you let them know ahead of time. You might be able to get soy milk this way. On the Mercury, at the bottom of the menu, it says that a vegetarian menu is available daily... just ask your waiter for it and tell him that you'll want one each night. I didn't see veggie burgers anywhere, either... see, I 'm the opposite of you, I avoid soy and won't eat anything with it in it, so I was looking!!!
