We are cruising on Radiance Feb 13-20/05, first timers!
I was horrified to hear that they have done away with midnight buffets on almost all cruises. I have heard such amazing things about these buffets and now I don't think I will get to experience it firsthand. Can anyone confirm for me?
They have one or two big buffets each week. A while ago they got rid of them because not enough people would show and they would have to throw a lot of food away. Instead on a nite with no buffet, they have trays of bite size food go around. They normally offer this in the major lounges. Plus either solarium or Seaview cafe will be open late at nite with burgers, pizza, fries, etc. If that does not please you, there is a 24 hour room service menu, which has cookies, sandwiches, salads, soups and desert.

Enchantment had a great GALA buffet on 12/9/04 on our first cruise the chocalate spread was incredible. Nothing like choc strawberries at midnite with your sweetheart.
