We just got back from a 4 day M-F cruise out of Miami. No crab legs, no lobster. Maybe some shrimp - I don't remember. Disney's food was better. More of a selection and better quality except that Majesty had a better kids menu at dinner (imagine that?). The Majesty has a 3 course meal where Disney has 4 courses. Appetizers/soup or salad - maybe 6 or 7 choices. 6 or 7 dinner choices (always a chicken, a beef, a fish and a vegetarian) and maybe 4 desserts (only one suger-free). Half what Disney had. Same with the buffets. Half the choice.
Majesty has lobster bisque soup, lobster ravioli, a crab and shrimp bisque soup, shrimp cocktail and mahi mahi. no lobster or crab legs.. they did have filet mignon one night, ny strip steak the other. i thought the food was decent.
I'm also sailing on the Majesty on July 18th with my grandson....I prefer the food on Carnival ships....I have sailed on the Majesty before and can count on one hand the good food I have had at dinner and lunch. If you're not a picky eater and your stomach can tolerate almost any kind of food, your group will be fine. We chose the Majesty because of the itinerary, not the food. If the ship stops at Cococay, there will be a nice buffet set up on the island. In Key West, we plan to eat lunch at Monty's.
