We ate at Shoguns during the repositioning cruise form LA to Vancouver. My husband and sons had the soba noodle soup dish at Shoguns. I want to say it was a broth based dish with soba noodles and veggies and maybe tempura..??? They have been begging me to get this recipe ever since. Please Can anyone help???? Thank you Jodi Meyers
Soba noodles are the Japanese version of Spaghettini - but made with rice flour and buckwheat flour.
Every Japanese restaurant in the world serves them; hot in the winter and cold in the summer.
You can buy them in "Cup Noodles" at just about any supermarket in America.
Most Japanese restaurants give you the option of "Soba" (thin rice / bcukwheat noodles) or "Udon" (thick rice flour and wheat flour noodles).
