Default Buying bottled wine, liquor on board Zenith?

Hello all! Hope I'm not asking too many questions and that I'm on the right message board for this question...
We are cruising the Zenith next month (4 nite W. Caribbean). In the documents Celebrity sent, there is a list of things you can purchase pre-cruise as "bon voyage" gifts. This list includes wine, bottles of liquor w/ set ups, etc. Are these packages mostly used to send as gifts? Has anyone ever pre-purchased liquor or wine this way so it is placed in your cabin when you arrive and if so, is it a good deal? Is is possible to purchase the same things on board the Zenith? Will appreciate any advice. Have heard individual drink prices can be crazy, and we might like a cocktail as we're getting ready for dinner, etc. Thank you.

This is a good way to buy your wine and spirits. Liquor on board will be more expensive if you buy it buy the bottle for in cabin consumption. Liquor purchased in the shops cannot be brought back to your cabin. It is held for you until the last night of the cruise.

Just have them put a "Bon Voyage to Me" on the card.

Take care,

Thanks for the information Mike ... and sorry for the delay in my reply! Today I'm ordering a bottle of bubbly to placed in our cabin as we sail away along with a few bottles of vino for the dining room. We leave one week from yesterday and we're getting truly excited about our first ever cruise.
