Drink Coupons ?

I would like to know if it is better (cheaper) to buy the drink coupons on carnival web page vs. paying for drinks with the sail & sign card? This is my first time cruising and I'll be on a tight budget. I drink martini's and I love K-One & The Goose. Are the premium brands included when a coupon is used? Please inform me about the coupons. THANKS! 8)

I believe that the drink coupons will just get you "well" drinks. You don't really get anything to your advantage when you purchase the drink coupons, except that they'll be prepaid

drink coupons are only good for the cheaper drinks, most beers and some mixed drinks.

Is it worth it to buy the coupons if you'll be using them only for white wine?

Any drinks that you request using Premium liquors or Premium beer will cost more just as they do in a restaurant back home. A K-One martini on the Liberty was $8.95. I believe Fern is correct, the drink coupons can only be used for "well" drinks. The only advantage to purchasing the drink coupons prior to your cruise is that you won't have to charge your drinks to your Sail & Sign card.
