What's the food like on the Crown Princess?

My boyfriend and I are new to cruising. We are on the Crown Princess around the Caribbean at the end of February 2007. One of our concerns is what the food will be like. We have opted for traditional dining - have we made the right choice? Boyfriend loves his food, but is very fussy - he doesn't like anything fancy, sauces etc - likes sirloin steak and that sort of thing. Will this be available? Also, how will we know which eating places on the ship are free and which have a charge?
