While on the Dawn Princess last Dec. the Head Waiter cooked up the most wonderful pasta dish right there in the dining room. It is called Penne Al Arabiatta Pasta. We asked him for the recipe and he was nice enough to give it to us but it was without the measurements just what went in the dish. Just wondering if anyone out there has that recipe from the Dawn? It is sooooo good, I read on another board that someones wife had it for her dessert too! Now that's what I call good............
I don't remember the exact proportions . . . but here goes . . . .
crushed red pepper
crushed or petite diced tomatoes
salt to taste
crush 4 or 5 garlic cloves, saute in olive oil- add about a tablespoon of crushed red pepper- (don't let the pepper scorch or it will be bitter)
add a large can (28oz) can of tomatoes, salt to taste- serve over
pasta of your choice!
