Default Escargot on Disney Wonder - Tasty

Good news. Escargot was available in abundance on the Disney Wonder and it was prepared to perfection. Found out that the French prepare escargot in garlic butter, but the Disney chefs are doing a great job preparing it in the Disney way. Skipped other appetizers in favor of the escargot. Waiter got to know me and would automatically take order. New menus on Wonder offer variety and taste experiences.

Take away the garlic and the butter and all you have is snails.

I'm not a big fan personally. Of course anything with enough butter, garlic and don't forget salt, will taste fantastic. But if that is the only way to make a snail palatable, I'll pass

I've never had snails off a cruise but always found thiers to have no other flavor drenched in so much garlic. Not bad but why do I want some chewy garlic balls?

In the recent past, escargot was not on the menu of some cruises because of a lack of snails. To find bountiful escargot on the Disney menu is a real treat to those cruisers who enjoy it. I have to agree with Paul, add butter, garlic and salt to just about anything and it tastes good.
