7 day cruise $199 w/$100 OBC

Likely not one I'll be able to to do but maybe someone here can jump on it.

May 6th NCL Sun is listed on VTG for $199 for 7 days with $100 on board credit. It's the cheapest cruise I've ever seen at this length. La to Vancouver so maybe do it prior to a cruise leaving vancouver on the 13 or 14th to Alaska, or just visit Canada a few days.

You have to make sure you include the fine print as what you've posted is a bit misleading.

The $199 is per person and does not include the tax, which at $181.82 per person, is much higher than most cruises. But at $382 per person, it's still not a bad deal if you want to do a coastal cruise from LA to Vancouver.

Also, the price quoted is for a inside guarantee cabin, so you have no idea where you'll be.

And lastly, the $100 onboard credit should state "up to $100 of onboard credit". Only suites get this much. The $199 inside guarantee only gets $25 of onboard credit, not $100.

I didn't post it included tax; nor that it included alcohol, or flights or any other thing. Prices in the US are given in all ads without tax unless stated.

I also didn't claim you could pick any cabin on the ship, just that it was available for someone who might be interested.

VTG says they offer $100 for select inside cabins if you actually read where I said to go. It also states suites are offered $145 so I'm assuming you didn't bother reading it.

I would usually ignore comments like these but has no one ever heard if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all? Just because this is the internet doesn't mean you have to be a *bleep*. Posting how much tax is helpful, there I said something nice.

I simply posted a cheap deal on a deal forum for someone who might want it. Kill me for trying to be helpful.
