Just back from 4/18 Infinity to Hawaii and just had to share this tip which we picked up from "Cruisediva" prior to leaving:
It's such a great idea that it needs to be spread around - especially for the ladies.
The "Cruisediva" had a tip on her web page which I picked up on prior to leaving on our recent cruise. My husband pooh, poohed it, but he was very impressed when we actually got to the ship and put the tip to work:
I purchased 2 shoe bags. One with "shelves" that hangs inthe closet. This type folds on flat and takes up virtually in space in your luggage. When we arrived on board, I unpacked, putting shoes (for both of us), evening bags, belts in this hanging shoe bag.
The second shoe bag was an el-cheapo that had many, many plastic pockets (it also folds up in luggage and takes no space at all). This one I hung on the inside of the bathroom door. In it I put hair dryer, shampoos, medications, makeup, brushes, etc. You cannot believe how neat and organized it was in that little bathroom for 10 days! And while one of us was getting ready in the bathroom - the other could simply reach in and grab what ever he needed. Everything was within easy view and reach!
Even hubby was impressed at this organization this little purchased allowed! And I'm sure the room attendant also appreciated not having to work around stuff sitting out in the bathroom.
Worked so well for us that I HAD to share it - THANK YOU "CRUISEDIVA"!
