Default Packing up after the cruise

On a long trip to California several years ago, I tried a method for keeping dirty clothes under control. I think it would work on the cruise as well. At the start of the cruise empty out one suitcase (by putting stuff in cabin drawers, hanging, etc.) As dirty clothes accumulate, put them in the empty suitcase (make sure nothing is wet!!). When its full, zip it up, put it under the bed and empty another suitcase and do it all over again. By the last night of the cruise, you should have all your dirty clothes in suitcases, and only your last outfit (unless you packed too much!!) left to wear. This will make that last night much more enjoyable. When we went to CA we had a rental car where we stored all the full suitcases, so we didn't have to lug as many suitcases into each motel. You can also wrap souvenirs in your dirty clothes to get them home and not have to lug 2-3 bags off the ship.

Hi Donnamay,
Thanks for sharing that good tip, I usually do the same thing, but sometimes I even have a few clean clothes left, so I divide the last suitcase up between the clean/dirty.

Great ideas, ladies. And here's another, but maybe not as great.

Open up those suitcases as close as possible to the laundry machine and just start pitching the stuff in.

We once did two cruises in a very short period of time and I sent everything to the ship's laundry and packed for Cruise #2 while still on Cruise #1.
