OK, all this dress code stuff is going to have hubby in a panic. On vacation, he wants to wear tee shirts and shorts. I understand the formal night and he'd wear the good dark suit if he HAD to (any other dining options on those nights?) but to have to put on dockers and a sport shirt for dinner every night is not going to go over very well and the dress idea isn't big with me either. Can I wear dockers? The more I read about these cruises the more I remain,
Hi Poocher,
Its really no big deal having to dress up for the formal nights, try it, you may even like it :-) You can wear the dockers on the casual nights, no problem there.
I believe there will only be 2 formal nights in the 7 night cruise and they do make the whole evening kind of special, hope you do book that cruise :-)
Pooch...
There are cruise lines where shorts and t shirts are the norm. No dress codes of any kind.
If dockers and a polo shirt are a problem you might be much better off looking at those.
Helloooooooo,
I wear t-shirts and shorts.........
I cruise on Carnival...
I don't wear them to the formal dinning room.
But most of the time I don't go to the formal dinning room...
I go to the lido deck.I can wear my shorts and be comfortable...

my husband is a jeans & t shirt guy too, but I convinced him he didn't want to be the odd man out. Just some khakis and a polo shirt aren't such a big deal. Also, you can always eat on the Lido deck if you really don't want togo to all that trouble.
As for formal night, that's when the Lobster comes out. When my husband heard that, he insisted on bringing along a suit.
