cool nights (relatively speaking)

I tend to get cool in the evenings on board, particularly on formal nights when in nice gowns - A/C tends to freeze me out. Any recommendations on what to wear over both formal gowns and casual dresses, that is easy/lightweight both to wear and to carry, and will warm me up without overheating me? thanks

I usually just wear a sweater set or just the cartigan part of the sweater set.

I too always pack a light weight sweater for evening that get cool. Sometimes the dinning rooms get chilly and a sweater is perfect for that.

I have a black cotton cardigan sweater with black beads on it ... works with evrerything.

Also, a black pashamina shawl works if you're feeling in the ritzy mood.

Definately agree with pam about the shawls -- I have 2 pashminas (1 black, 1 off-white) and several I crocheted in different colors/patterns, and they have always work well and look great! And they take up very little packing room, too.

I was lucky my formal evening dress had a matching wrap which I have sewed to hooks and eyes onto it...so I can keep the wrap around me w/o having to hold onto it every moment.
