Default Electricity

I use electric hair rollers to curl my hair and would like to know if the power is strong enough on the Golden Princess to heat them up? This is my first cruise and I have heard that in days of yore even a curling iron would blow out fuses. Hopefully that has changed.

Default Re: Electricity

I too travel with Hot Rollers and have never had a problem with them heating up. Trying to find a plug that is adaptable at the vanity is usually a bigger problem on some ships. I had no problem on the Sea or Grand Princess. Bring a power strip if you use more than one appliance. Most ship hairdryers are weak too or the hose burns your hand before the dryer dries your hair.
Bon Voyage
