Formal or not on Fascination

I have heard several different views on the dress code on the Fascination.
I have a very formal beaded knock out dress I was planning on taking. However, after hearing that the Fascination was a little more dress down type of cruise, I am afraid
of being to dressy. I am thinking about a semi-formal dress now. Has any one been
on the Fascination lately and how many formal dresses did you notice? Thanks for all the advice.

Carnival is the least dressy of all the mainstream cruise lines, that being said, you will see everything from beaded evening dresses to simple basic cocktail dresses and everything in between --why not bring both? If you are going a 7 day cruise you will have 2 formal nights. The first formal night - the Captain's Welcome Aboard Gala is the dressier of the 2 nights.
