Well Linda,
It could actually mean anyone of those, but for me, its dear husband, so you were very close. It will be interesting to hear what some others refer dh to be???

I always thought it was "Darling Husband" but it's one of those abbreviations I don't like at all.

Dork Head?

TeeHee.

I used to refer to my ex-husband as something a little saltier than "Dork Head." Richard Cranium would cover it.

One night some friends were out on a stroll in former DH's rather upscale neighborhood. They stopped to chat, introduced themselves, etc.

After their little conversation, my friends walked on. The wife said, "I can't believe that our Pam was ever married to that guy, even though he is quite handsome."

The husband said, "But he introduced himself as John. I'm pretty sure that Pam's ex was named Dick."

Pamda,

Dork Head?

Some undoubtedly are!

But what does that say about the lass who married him?

Norm.
