Default keeping cloths wrinkle free

Hi All,
Cruising this Saturday. I saw an interesting chat about keeping cloths wrinkle free when pack and unpacking. I forgot to take the name of the product down for future reference. Does anyone have any idea what the name of the product is? Also, any additional helpful hint on keeping cloths wrinkle free is gratefully appreciated.

I've had pretty good luck with Downey Wrinkle reducer. Follow the directions on the bottle.

I noticed that irons aren't allowed on board on many cruises, but how about a travel steamer?

Hi Maryann,
Many thanks. That's the product I was looking for. Going to go out right now and buy a bottle. Bob Krason

i use an old standard method that has served me very well, steam the wrinkles out of your clothes in the shower. Hang your clothes in the bathroom and turn on the shower full blast hottest you can get it, close the door and leave it be for a few minutes

I find that if you roll up some of your clothig into a cylinder shape they do not get as creases up. This only works on certain articles of clothing. Hope this little tip helps!

Bob- remember, it says 'reducer' not eliminator!

When I first bought it, I tested it on a very wrikled pair of shorts-on one side. The difference was great. You can live with it.

Now I would like to try it WITH the hot shower treatment- maybe better, maybe not.

Using lots of tissue paper between t-shirts, shirts, shorts etc. and use those clear, plastic bags you can beg, borrow or buy at the dry cleaners for blouses, pants, dresses etc. should keep most things wrinkle free while traveling....My daughter swears by the spray on wrinkle releasers...she uses Fabreze, I think...Have a good time...bets

I swear by hanging everything in the dry cleaner bags -- a tip I learned from our esteemed moderator's book, "Cruise Control."

If your clothes are ironed/pressed before you pack and don't pack days or weeks ahead and hang up your clothes when you first get on the ship the wrinkles will take care of them selves. If they don't, send them to be pressed or use the irons provided on the ship. The most important thing is to start out with ironed clothes and minimize the amonut of time they are folded in your suitecase.
