No problem with aerosol cans. I pack all of my bathroom stuff now in a checked piece of luggage at the airport. This way I don't have to worry about the contents being confiscated at security check in. Once I retrieve my luggage, I take the small roll on with me through the cruise pier security check in.

No problem at all (I always pack air freshner). I can't imagine you couldn't include in a carry-on.

just a note FYI - as hairsprays go you will need a high humidity hairspray for cruise ship conditions, if you can do without you will be better off. Pack it in a ziploc bag in your carry-on luggage.I wouldn't bother with aerosal air freshener, pack a couple of car air fresheners and hang them around your cabin, takes up no room in your baggage.

You need to pack Aerosol cans of hairspray in checked bag. One of my clients got a $10 can of Hairspray taken at checkpoint. They dont allow them because they are considered a weapon! I put mine in checked bag.

You cant put aerosol cans in a carry on. They can take it, it is a fire hazard can be used as a weapon. I know this as a fact when one of my clients got a brand new can of KMS hairspray taken!
