Has anyone ever had any problems when taking Over -the- counter medicines and vitamin supplements that where not in their original packages?
I buy these items in very large bottles from a bulk store and would not be able to take the bottles, planned to just take a few out and put them in a plastic baggie is this a bad idea?
It all depends upon the customs agent. Most won't even care, but you never know.... I would buy one of those weekly pill dispenser containers over just throwing all your pills into a Ziploc type bag.
We do take a lot of vitamins every day. So we take a weekly holder for each of us. out prescription meds are taken in there original containers. I figure that way if we should be detained longer then expected we have our meds with us. Never have had a problem that way. Char
I too have purchased a weekly pill holder. If an agent thinks you are into drugs with them so neatly organized, I think they might need someone to talk to. We have never had a problem.
I put our OTC and our prescription drugs in the weekly pill dispenser. I took along a copy of each of our prescriptions in case we were questioned. They never even looked twice. A copy of your prescriptions is a good idea in case of an emergency where medical personnel would need to know what you are on and in case you were delayed for some reason.
