We returned on 6/14 th. The weather was great for the entire cruise save 1 day which was a sail day so no harm done. We took the ship sponsored jet boat orca trip out of Victoria, B.C. and saw a pod of about 20-25. Stayed with them for about 30-45 mins. Super. Heard some folks talking about salmon fishing and that they were disappointed. Don't know the cost. If you're going to be in Seattle extra days consider the Premier tour of Seattle for 50.00 pp. It lasts for about 6 hours with ferry rides, mtns, rivers and all kinds of neat stuff. You won't regret it !! The guy that runs it is a school teacher and knows all about eveyrthing. Comfortable bus and meal stops on the ferries. If interested, email me for particulars. Have a great cruise...

Cruising with college girls (all over 50) on Aug 2. What types of clothing/shoes will we need? Coat? Sweaters? Or are sandals, shorts and capris ok?

You should take some comfortable walking shoes, light blouses/shirts, t-shirts, light weight overshirt, etc. We went on June 7-14 and did not need anything heavier than what I listed. Carry a mid weight jacket/sweater for who knows what can happen?? Sandals, shorts, and capris will work, also. Have a great time ;-)
