Default formal nite bag help

hope i can get some ideas.

the only thing left for me to pick up is a bag for formal nite. i will be wearing a lovely white almost see through duster with a design in it with a white cammie underneath. black silk pants and black shoes with it . my jewlery is black onyx. i am going to be solo so i need something to hold my ss card and little tip money and a few small things. a long strap is what i want but i dont know whether to try to find something sparkly or more simple with my outfit. please help. dusty

I should wear a black silk purse; shoulder evening bags are out this year. Anne

I would stay with something simple in black silk, satin or even velvet with a jeweled clasp but not necessary. I did not know shoulder strap was Out this year! I will still take mine which are very convenient to hold my glasses, etc.

Yesterday I saw small, satiny, beaded evening bags at Dollar Tree. They looked very nice, and how can you go wrong for $1.00?

i found the perfect bag. it is silk and the front has small black rhinestones on the closer. it has a long stap that can be tucked inside or used on my shoulder . it is the perfect size. jcpenny had it on sale for $7 and 30% off. wow, what a buy. i love it. now i am ready for that formal night and lobster. thanks for all of your wonderful advice and tips. dusty
