Default clothing

I am going on my first cruise in December on Celebrity's Century to the Western Carribean. Would someone please explain to me the difference between informal and casual? Would you also give me examples of the type of clothing that falls into each of the categories? I am a woman in her mid-thirites. Thank you for your help.

Hi Jodi,
I know its rather confusing when they use those terms, but casual you can get away with wearing a sun dress, a pair of nice pants and a blouse. For informal, a nice dress or pants suit will work. Hope this helps.

Simply put I wear what I wear for fun at home for casual and what I wear to church or out to an expensive restaurant for informal. Basic but it works. Hope this helps & happy cruisin'!

I was wondering what type of shoes do the ladies bring . This is my first cruise and I am not sure - heels, sneakers, sandals, all the above. Thanks for the help. Toni

Hi Luvjoy,
Yep, all of the above. I try to pack one pair of heels or may-be 2 for all the dress up nights, 2 comfortable pairs of sandals and sneakers if needed for an excursion.
