Default formal nights

I'm leaving on Splendor of the Sea to the Meditterean next wee. This is my first cruise and don't know the dress code. Any suggestions.

Hillary - Med cruises are "traditionally" dressier than Caribbean cruises.
on a 7-10 night cruise you will have 2 formal nights. Formal for women means a long dress or a long skirt with a very dressy/ or sparkly blouse, a short dressy cocktail dress is also acceptable, dress suits are fine as are dressy pants suits again with a sparkly or very dressy top. Formal for men is easy - dark dress suit, or tux

The cruiselines' websites also have dress suggestions. And your pre-cruise documents may have suggestions also.

It seems that after five "New Year's Eve" type of outfits are appropriate for both men and women on formal nights.
