getting to Long Beach from LAX

Hi everyone!
I am a first time cruiser taking the Paradise 4 night cruise over Thanksgiving. I am hoping you all can help me with a question about transportation. We are going with extended family (total of 13 - ages 3-64) and will be arriving at LAX in groups of 4, 5, etc. What would be the least expensive way to get from LAX to Long Beach? I'm thinking of SuperShuttle due to all of the luggage. Carnival's web site mentions taxis for $25 each way but doesn't list the name of the taxi company. Any suggestions? (And any other helpful hints are truly appreciated!!)

super shuttle will be best for groups of 4-5. the ccl transfer is slow with all the luggage to be loaded and unloaded and sometimes waiting for people to come off planes.
