Formal- is a Kilt acceptable

Hi,

WE are from the UK and would like an answer to the following if possible.
We,ve booked on HAL for our first cruise. Is a kilt and full regalia acceptable.

On my HAL cruise April 2004 a man did dress in a kilt for formal night and it was absolutely appropriate and a non issue for other passengers.

when we were on your last cruise on the carnival triumph the asst cd and four another
man were wearing kilts on formal night

Wearing a kilt would be fantastic!

Don't go topside when it's windy though! The wind was so strong at one point that small children were playing in it like they were in some type of space game. We could hardly walk in some areas.
