The best advice I followed for our recent cruise. I would have never thought about bringing waterproof mascara, but I saw it in a post and am so glad I did. I spent so much time in the water that my regular mascara would have been a mess. I never had a problem. OK guys, maybe this isn't important for you, but you want us ladies to look good, right!

I have great luck with MAC powerpoint eye crayon - it is waterproof(I like utility grey- a dark steel grey)
They also have splashproof lash mascara ( I personally have not tried it though),I have good luck with waterproof Mary Kay mascara, since I wear contacts.
Merle Norman also has waterproof eye liner and mascara.

Go one better... Have your eyebrows and eyelashes dyed before you go. I do this regularly and never wear mascara unless I really want to go bold - like formal night.
Deedi rights you need to buy the remover to go along with the waterproof mascara. Thought I'd try Maybelline's Great Lash waterproof mascara before we leave and it worked great at $6.00 a tube, but make sure you buy special remover. I first tried regular eye makeup remover Kielhls, Estee Lauder and Lancome and none of them work. Looked for baby oil, didn't have any left, so I was digging through my bathroom cabinets and finally found a very 'greasy' face moisturizer I use after taninng and it finally came off after three attempts. Vegetable oil would've been my next attempt . So before I leave I'm buying specific remover for waterproof mascara.
We leave in 22 days for the Southern Caribbean aboard the Golden Princess.
Almay makes a GREAT waterproof mascara/eyleiner remover! I always buy mine at Target. It comes in greasy and non-greasy and the greasy takes off the waterproof. The container is filled with single use pads, so no need for cotton balls, etc.
great info on the mascara and eye-liner. does anyone know of a foundation that does not rub off on your clothing. i read of one a long time ago but cant remember who made it. i use very little on my neck area but it still gets on my collars. any help here please. thanks alot.
