White gown in November?

Okay, going on a 10 day cruise to the caribbean in November and I found this great white gown yesterday. I live in Florida and travelling to warm weather so I figured white was appropriate all year, any comments or feedback?

White is always OK in the tropics.

isn't white a poular colour for Christmas ( a winter time colour)? My motto is as long as you aren't hurting anyone go for it. I think your dress will be just fine.

Just remember to post pictures when you get back. I'm sure you'll look great. Remember there is a color WINTER WHITE.

I'm a purist...no white for me after labor day. Winter white is a totally different color.

However, I also believe in not worrying about what other people think, so I say have fun and wear what you want!! People will find fault with whatever you do, if you decided not to wear it I'm sure someone woudl find faulth with that as well.
