Default Reasonable Advice

Need some outfits for your cruise? Our family of 4 went to the local Salvation Army stores! I got a suitcase on wheels expandable for $3.99 ! My son (7) got a formal suit for $8. My daughters dress was $5, I found a dress for $8.
We totally outfitted our family for under $100 which includes drycleaning and shoes and accesories! We used the $ we saved towards a VIP shore excursion.

you have found us out! lots of cruisemates shop the thrift, and consingment stores for great cruise clothes.
Another great tip is to wait until the after the holidays sale at the major department stores, you can get great deals on formal wear.

Good for you - great buys. I am also shoppping now for our March cruise on the Conquest. All the summer stuff is marked down really low - almost giving it away lol. I buy it now and stow it away. I bring it out about two weeks before we leave and it's like opening Christmas presents - especially when I can't remember a thing I bought lol. TTFN Jennifer

Great shopping. We just had a St. Vincent DePaul Society store open up near us. I have always donated clothes to them, now I can find bargains there as well. I also have a Salvation Army Thrift Store in downtown. I feel lucky--2 places to go for bargains. Now I just need a cruise to shop for.
