Default Is this TOO formal?

I'm going on a 5 night carnival cruise to Nassau and Key West.

I'm pretty chubby, so my options are limited. I found this dress on ebay, but I'm worried it's too prom-like. I'm 22, so I'm worried I'll look, like, 12.

that dress looks just fine. you will see people who are ultra-formal and those who are really just dressy-casual. i think you should wear something that you are comfortable with and that you think you look great in. (I also think that dress is gorgeous!)

Hi gsujillybean,

I agree with Pami, that dress is gorgeous! I think you'll look wonderful on formal night.

Just wait until you're my age! You'll be glad to look 10 years younger!

Have a wonderful cruise!

that dress is very elegant looking. The only way you will know is to try it on and see how you feel in it. It might be a good idea to get a wrap, shawl or passima to go with the strapless- it can be chilly in the dining rooms and shows.

That dress would be perfect for formal night -- and there's little doubt that it will look even better on you than in the photo! Go for it!

Norm.

There is no way that you'll look like a 12yr. old in that beautiful elegant dress. Go for it.

gsujillybean,

Wow! That is a beautiful gown! You will look stunning in it! I'd agree with the suggestion to have a wrap over your shoulders. Have fun wearing it!

You look terrific! From one Ebay shopper to another, you scored a lovely outfit.

Go and have a fantastic time.

Default It will look great !

That dress is very pretty and will be flattering -- do bring something for your shoulders though in case it is chilly. Some people dress up more than others and you need to wear what you feel good in. 8)
