Default aqua boots/crocs/others?

Anyone know of a good place to get aqua boots before the cruise or would i be able to get them on shore. I'm thinking mainly for ocho rios, but they would be handy for a couple of other beachy things before that. Alternatively would crocs be ok for dunns falls or should I just wear an old pair of disposable trainers?

It's best to get them before you go. Most of the major sporting goods chains carry SurfWalkers (R) or other reasonably good brands.

LLBean has water sandals that are the best! The aqua shoes have no support in them, and climbing the rocks hurts if you don't have some kind of support.

Yes, that's a good point. I specifically recommended the SurfWaklers (R) brand because they have good soles that are thick enought to protect your feet.

If you have a difficult time finding them, you should be able to pick them up at ports and even on the ship. I recently picked up a pair in Grand Cayman, wasn't a problem.

I would recommend the Crocs. They have a non-skid sole and excellent arch support. Aside from the traditional Beach style they also have new styles that are designed for boating, hiking and water sports (one pair can even be used as flippers). If you can't find them locally you can find all of the styles at crocs.com. They are the safest and most reasonably priced shoes we've found
