Snokel mask and mouthpiece

Would like to give this a try - not too crazy about the hygiene issue of the mouthpiece. Are they disposable or disinfected somehow??

Yes, the mouthpieces are cleaned off in between uses...I've never had an issue with any I've used, you should be fine, if not, you can pick one up fairly cheap at home before you go.

Any half-way decent tour operator or rental company will give you clean snorkels. If you have any doubts clean them off in the salt water before using them, or bring some sanitizing wipes to wipe off the mouthpiece. We snorkel alot so we bring our own gear.
