Default Celebration Formal Night

We are sailing on Celebration in June. I know that Carnival has a more relaxed definition of formal, but my family really wants to dress up since we don't get too many opportunities. We are all in a wedding in March and plan to wear our clothes from the wedding for formal night. That means I will have a black and pink stapless gown, DD will have a pink gown, and DH and DS will have tuxes. Has anyone else been on Celebration (or a less formal Carnival ship)? Does this sound like too much?

Your outfits sound perfect for formal night. You'll see a mix of outfits for formal nights so you'll fit right in.

Sounds like a great idea. Kind of sentimental and classy. I love Carnival and have seen all types of attire on formal nights. You'll be fine, and, most likely, admired!

I just got off CarnivalCelebration and you will look terrific. Take your pretties, it's fun for you and your family. You kids will have a great memory.

You can wear the formal items anytime you wish. The fashion police will not ticket you.
