Default Your opinion on a formal dress style would be appreciated.

I have a long silver sheath with long sleeves, would this be appropriate or too warm for a formal night?

That would be very appropriate. Most cruises go to warm destinations, but the ships are air conditioned so you don't have to worry too much about finding a cool style. In fact, ladies who wear dresses that don't cover the shoulders often appreciate a shawl -- especially if they end up sitting under an air conditioning outlet!

Should be ok.

It sounds good . . . the ship's air conditioning is cool, and sometimes too cold, so your dress would be fine
