Default Question on dress code for non formal night

Is it ok to wear a tank top...the more stylish ones that you see in Victoria secret to non formal dinner night...with a pair a capri pants or nice kakhi pants ? If I do wear this...will I feel out of place ? I just don't think i'll wear a sundress or dress every night.

I saw plenty of stylish tank tops - you will fit right in.

That would be fine for "casual" or "smart casual" evenings on the majority of cruise lines, but check the dress codes for the line on which you are cruising to confirm it.

Actually, I would recommend either a skirt or slacks rather than capris, though....

I would have to agree with msblackjack a nice dress tank top and capris will be great for dinner time especially on carnival i just checked out there brochure online it only states that t shirts and shorts arent allowed. nothign about tank tops or capris. I know at my work we are allowed to wear the dressy type capris and a tank top and i work in an office setting.
have fun be YourSelf.

I think that's fine. Last time, I saw many people wearing something similar to what you described
