Default dinner dress

Hi,

I am going on a 4 night cruise on Carnival's Monarch of the Seas. My first!
We have one formal night and 3 casual nights. I am all squared away for the formal night but am unsure of what to wear for the casual nights. I have khaki pants and a skirt to wear but it's the tops I'm concerned about.
I was thinking of wearing a v-neck tshirt with my khaki pants one evening but wasn't sure if that would be acceptable. It's fitted and I wear it to work(office-business casual). What do you all think?

Also, are capri pants acceptable for casual dinner?

Thanks for any help!

Hmmm....

The "casual" evenings on most cruise ships are a fairly dressy (evening) casual, so I generally would recommend tops like these or these with a skirt or slacks. You probably will see a few guys in "T" shirts and jeans on Carnival, but it's always best to conform to the published guidelines even if others don't.

Norm.

if you wear a top to work that is business/casual it would be fine for the casual nights on your cruise. If you are comfortable with it, why not go for something a little bit more sexy, or a splashy tropical print. Nice capris are fine for casual nights.

this is a little off the question your asking but you said your going

ship tell you this because there is going to be more then one ship in your ports of call and you don't get on the wong ship it will ruin your vacation
