The cost of beauty on cruise ships

Sailing Mariner of the Seas on 9/9/07 and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea the charges for hair styling and make-up application?

I think that the beauty salons aboard ship are about comparable to a somewhat upscale beauty salon at home.

I had my hair done for formal night on the Legend of the Seas in November. I paid approx 50 dollars for an updue. I don't recall make-up applications being offered. If you have your heart set on an updue for formal night, book early. Unless you want your hair done in the middle of the day the appts go VERY fast.

FYI - I would also suggest bringing a pic of the hair do you're looking for. I left it all in the hands of my hairdresser and it turned out very nice, But one lady asked for something specific next to me and went out looking like a poodle (she wasn't happy).
