OK ive finally started the dreaded task of packing!! 1 suitcase is almost full and I dont have enough space in 1 suitcase for the rest of my things, I need to somehow use a 2nd bag without it being my carryon, so basically, I need 3checked (including a dress garmet bag), 1 carryon, is this possible? IM not flying...IM not use to packing for this length of trip, 8 days on the ship, 1 day precurise, and 2-3 days post cruise....UGH!! Heeeeelllllllp!!!! s0s

basically, reevaluate what your taking with you. Sea days your mostly in shorts and swim suits. You don't need three outfits a day. Look for ways to mix and match. T-shirt you can pick up at port and wear. If you really need a lot of stuff and the ship your on has a laundry. Toss in a load on a sea day. Your all set for a few more days.

After sorting through my clothing, I DONT HAVE ENOUGH DAILY CLOTHING!!! 2 shirts, 1 pair of capris, 1 pair of shorts!! ALL my "other "clothing and delima Dinner clothing!! Which I have plenty of!( and got it packed) I tried yesterday to buy some shorts at wally, and ofcourse they dont have any, atleast not until after New Years!

ok.. about dinner wear... You can get by with two pairs of slacks and three nice tops. One formal outfit and it can be a cocktail dress. One pair of dress shoes that go with both the slacks and dress. No one cares if you wear the same dinner outfit twice. Mostly everyone is interested in dinner. hahahaha

I think what she was suggesting is to take LESS dinner attire. I have enough nice dinner outfits to take a very long cruise (which I can't afford) and the hardest part of packing is choosing which ones to take. If you have a suitcase almost full of that, you're taking far more than you will use. I used to take a nice outfit even for casual nights. Now, I know better. Re. shorts and capri's, try buying on line if you have time. I only take 2 each for a trip the length of yours. And I often don't use those. As said, a swimsuit and cover up can take you through the days at sea easily.

Other than not having enough shorts and capris, im fine. Packing is no longer a concern. Ive just hit panic mode. It will be ok, i even called Carnival last nite to try and upgrade our room to a Suite. Its my OCD coming out in full force Everyone have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! ....s0s
